About Us
The bakery has been in the family since it was founded in 1909 by Ambrose
Galli and fellow baker and Italian immigrant Rafael Valente. The current bakers/operators are descendants Ambrose Galli Jr. and son, Todd Galli. From recipes passed down through generations, the bakery retains a strong Italian identity, offering everything from breads to cookies, tarts and special occasion cakes. A cake decorator is on duty at all business hours for while-you-wait service. A best seller is Strawberry Delight, a sponge cake with Italian custard, bananas, berries and whipped cream (eight inches, $27.95).
